What financial management software do you use?
We only use Quickbooks Online. After many years being on QB Desktop, we realized that the future lies in the Online version, and have subsequently focused solely on this program. Due to its nearly universal appeal and ability to exist solely in the cloud, we find that it is overwhelmingly the best tool in our bookkeeping toolbox. Clients also really appreciate the ease with which they can access their books in real-time from any device. Our other core software platform is TaxDome, which provides our amazing client portal for supremely easy document management and e-signatures via the web and a mobile app.
Can you prepare my taxes?
We are currently not offering tax services (for now!) However, working directly with your established CPA can be an ideal situation for you as we can prepare and submit all financial data and reports needed by your CPA to prepare your returns. The good news however is that beginning in early 2027, we do plan on rolling out tax services as a licensed IRS Enrolled Agent (Jason is currently enrolled in the Becker test prep program and planning to sit for the EA exams later this year).
How do I send my documents to you?
We will setup a view-only connection between Quickbooks and your bank accounts so that we can automatically retrieve and enter your monthly bank transactions and statements. If we require any additional documents, we have our secure client portal for this purpose.
Will I need to commit to any contracts?
To launch the onboarding process, we will send a simple engagement letter for you to review and sign, which outlines in clear terms our services and requirements. However, there are absolutely no short or long-term contracts required for our services.
